DI Global, here come the Masterminds!

On Saturday, April 7, 4 of our RGMS Destination Imagination (DI) teams competed at the State Tournament at UMBC!

Our very own The Masterminds (Zuri Hakim, Stella Hrusa, Ella King, Idia Obamogie, Ayomide Olayokun and Felix Umanzor) placed 3rd in their elementary category of 17 other teams and will be competing in the Destination Imagination Global Tournament with 6000 participants from around the world in Knoxville, Tennessee in May!

Additionally, The Shooting Stars were selected to represent PGCPS in the opening ceremony at The State Tournament.

We are so proud of all of the RGMS DI participants who worked so hard over the school year on their solutions. We are equally proud of the families and friends who raised over $8000 in a couple short weeks to ensure that these young ladies will have the chance to compete in the Global Tournament in May. Best of luck at the Global Tournament, and we are all rooting for you!
